My Name Is David Aka BIG DAVE! At Backlash 2025, it was Randy Orton versus John Cena. This is John Cena's last appearance in St. Louis.
This is my hometown, and I decided to go to the show. At the time my YouTube channel was growing, and to make an effort for it to grow more, I decided to make a sign.
I really didn't get a good view during the show, but I decided on the post-show to put the sign right behind Big E, and as a result of that.
I got 600 subscribers within two days, and still people are following me because they watched Backlash again. People have actually commented up to a few months ago. Hey, I saw you at the Backlash DVD, which I didn't know, but still people watch DVDs 😂
I started making custom entrance videos in 2024 as a result of watching one. I have video editing skills from years before. I've been doing it for years, off and on.
So I decided to make a few of my own, and as a result, my channel blew up. The only thing was I wasn't making money from it from using the actual music of the wrestlers. So with different things I've been experimenting with and trying out, I did wrestling reviews. I hate doing reviews like how people do Raw and SmackDown.
So exploring what to do with my channel, I haven't been consistent. For now, I found what works for me and with what I do. So that's why I've restarted the custom entrance videos and creating shorts content for you guys to give my opinions, because it's quick and I can keep content on the channel and just putting my thoughts out there about wrestling in general.
I'm a wrestling fan, almost 30 years. I consider myself very smart to the business. This is what I know. This is what I love. And even if I don't end up becoming a pro wrestler like I've always wanted, this could be my way to contribute to the business that I love, using my talents and creativity to help others, or if you want to hear thoughts and opinions from someone who's actually trained to be a wrestler, has taken bumps, met different wrestlers, and has actually been in the ring before.
